Environmental education

Since 2014, the Educational Project has been an option for 10th and 11th grade students from schools in the area of influence (Concha Medina de Silva and La Floresta) to spend voluntary hours with us, promoting environmental education from practical spaces to understand the socio-environmental problems of the mining sector.

Throughout the 8-year history of the project, more than 100 participating students have managed to understand about the importance of preserving the natural resources of the area and actions they can carry out to contribute to the conservation of ecosystems. We also seek to strengthen relations between the community and the company so that, together, we can work and define strategies for the sustainable development of the region.
