Furia Esmeraldera, EMS’ mine rescue group, participated in the 2018 International Mining Rescue Olympics in Russia. The team achieved fifth place and its equipment mechanic Alfonso López, achieved the third place worldwide.

We are the main employers in Western Boyaca. In 2009 we started operations with 267 formal workers and currently we have a workforce of more than a thousand collaborators distributed in all our companies.
